1.1- Updates and Fixes!

heyyy everyone, care here!

first off, i just want to say thank you so much for 80+ downloads in just 4 days!! all the support, feedback, fanworks, and love i've gotten on this project so far has been incredible. 

it's gotten me so pumped to make chapter 2, as that's my favorite chapter! i can't give an estimate for now on when it'll be out, but i am aiming for sometime around summer 2024.

anyways- the game's been updated slightly! here's a list of things changed thanks to input i've received:

1. pause before music looping
- in garageband, when you export a song, it automatically adds a second of silence to the end. i've gone back and removed this second from each song in the soundtrack so that everything loops perfectly!

2. sound effects being cut off
- the code i used for the characters' "voices" uses the same sound channel as sound effects, meaning that sometimes sfx would get cut off once the character started talking. i've fixed each sound effect so that it fits perfectly between the sprite showing up and the character speaking!

3. startup icon change
- this one's just a small change but i didn't want it to use the default renpy icon anymore. so i used a simple design for now, it may change if i think of a better symbol to represent prospector.

4. question reset
- during tiresias' first questioning, there was a bug that caused the music to start over whenever you clicked on a different question. this has been fixed!

i'm glad these issues were all relatively minor, but they still urked me and i could tell they caught people off guard during their playthroughs ToT 

thank you again for all the advice and support, and for sharing this project with your friends/family! it means the world to me and i couldn't be happier seeing my hard work finally pay off!

would you guys be interested in a hq youtube upload of the soundtrack? more people than i expected complimented the music so i think it'd be fun

a french translation of ch1 is in the works, but i can't guarantee when it'll be out >_> maybe i'll release a french TL of both ch1 and ch2 at the same time. we'll see!
